So my boyfriend kind of bought us both digital copies of TERA: The Exiled Realm of Arborea a day ago. * O *

I am in love with the game. It is beautiful, and I’ve never played an mmo yet with this gameplay. (though I know there are some, but other than GE no MMO caught my eye recently…)

The first class I tried was Slayer, but due to first lagging out like mad I mainly swung my giant sword at thin air. I decided to delete him and just go full support Priest like I’ve done in most other single-char games. (FlyFF, Rohan…)

I already know the ups and downs of this kind of class, and how relatively slow they are to level - but the feeling of accomplishment when you see your FS at the highest level and best gear is incredible.

This is the first p2p game I’ve ever played, so my hopes are high.  It was mainly the graphic (and other people saying the gameplay is nice) that got us to buy it. I would not chug out money for a game that looks outdated like WoW (not saying the game itself is bad, but I am vain when it comes to games, and it does not appeal to me at all).

So of course, I have already taken a bunch of screenshots!

Thanks to my friend I can play Tera on high graphics (right image). Before that I was playing on lowest graphics possible (left image). He introduced me to Laetrix Latency Fix, it helped alot!

In tough instances I will lower my graphics though to ensure smooth supporting of the party!

I am very dissappointed. When we finally have a finnswedish song. Even for people who don’t understand the lyrics, I think it would still sound good.

I’m usually very sceptical about anything coming out of my homecountry but this song is REALLY GOOD. ):

I mentioned before some of my favorite character designs in the world of comics and have been meaning to tackle this subject again. I came to realize, however, that “character design” is itself a fairly massive subject, and that it would be best to break the topic down…
